LIST OF ACTIVITIES IN 2016-2017
- Medical camp conducted at Fayth Clinic Borivali on 22/6/2016 for detection of Diabetes . Total number of beneficiaries were 80 . Free distribution of medicines done for diabetes. Camp was very successful.
- Doctors meeting and talk on 16/10/2016 .Topic : Hypertension in Youth Total number of beneficiaries were 78 . Talk was widely appreciated , followed by active question answer session.
- Free Pediatric camp conducted at Fayth Clinic Prabhadevi on 8/10/2016 for the age group between 2 yrs to 10 yrs.There were 20 beneficiaries who were treated . Most of the children had respiratory infections and 13 children were malnourished . Health talk was given to the parents regarding diet and nutrition for the children . Free multivitamins and vit A was provided to all children.
- Free Diabetic Camp held at BDDchawlworli on 4/12/2016. Total number of beneficiaries were 78 . About 27 beneficiaries also had cardiac involvement . Free medicines were distributed and counselling done to all the patients regarding healthy lifestyle. 10 young diabetics were identified in the camp. Camp was very successful.
- Medical Camp conductedat NMT school on Dec 2016 for 1 week . Entire medical examination of all children done for all children from nursery to std 10. Total number of beneficiaries 1000. Each child is given separate medical card .Height , weight , BMI, general examination , vision testing, dental examination , hearing examination , skin examination done for all children. High risk children identified for malnutrition, high BP, cardiac problems and markers of early diabetes. Very successful camp and widely appreciated.
- Health Awareness Talk and Medical Camp conducted at Tata AIG 8 Mar 2017 on account of Women’s day. Total number of beneficiaries were 48. Topic was “ It is not easy being a woman “ which included care of health in all stages of life including physical, emotional and mental health. This was followed by medical screening including blood test for the beneficiaries.
